A student-built platform

We are building the learning network we wished we had.

RelaySkills began with a simple question: why does learning have to be so expensive? School, coaching, courses, and tutors can all be out of reach, especially when rising education costs put good opportunities further away. We started with late-night conversations among friends and realised that between us there was an incredible amount of knowledge. We just were not sharing it.

So we built a place where people are the teachers, people are the learners, and the community is the classroom. Teach what you know for an hour, earn a time credit, and use it to learn from somebody else. Behind every page are students balancing classes and work while trying to keep practical learning accessible to anyone and everyone possible.

When one person shares an hour of knowledge, the value can keep travelling long after that hour is over.

What your support makes possible

Small contributions create room to keep building.

We use support to reduce the practical costs of running a thoughtful, accessible learning platform.

Keep the platform dependable

Hosting, storage, security, backups, and accessibility work keep members’ profiles, sessions, and learning history available when they need them.

Make community spaces safer

Moderation tools, reporting workflows, and privacy improvements help people learn and collaborate with more confidence.

Turn student ideas into features

Support gives our student team time to improve matching, workshops, progress tools, and pathways for people with fewer resources.

Choose your own level

Anything you give is a vote for open, practical learning.

There is no required amount. If RelaySkills has helped you, or if you want more people to have access to this kind of exchange, you can help us keep going.
